Dana Ariel and the Comin' Up Roses

Southwestern Colorado artist Dana Ariel's atmospheric vocals, folk guitar, and captivating storytelling demonstrate the young artists passion, capability, and gratitude to share her music with her audience. Growing up in the mountains of Colorado, the daughter of a Turkish bouzouki player father and ski bum mother, Ariel blossomed in the bluegrass scene she was surrounded by; always inspired by the mighty outdoors and power to be a wild woman. After spending most of her adolescence attending fiddle camps across Colorado, playing in a Suzuki School, and  having her own bands in high school, Ariel decided to travel the world and honor her gypsy roots- on a journey to earn a degree in music.
